Brand: Tesla
The Tesla AZS222 index refers to a stock market index that tracks the performance of a group of Polish companies that are part of the Warsaw Stock Exchange's NewConnect platform. The NewConnect program is designed to help smaller and mid-sized companies raise capital through public offerings. The AZS222 index includes only the 22 represented companies that meet certain criteria, such as a market capitalization of at least PLN 10 million (roughly $2.5 million) and an average daily turnover of at least PLN 10,000 (approximately $2,500). The AZS222 is known as the "Tesla" index because it is named after the pioneering Polish engineer Nikola Tesla, who is widely recognized as a visionary in the field of electrical engineering and a contributor to many technological innovations. However, it is not directly related to the Tesla electric car company.
